The Women in Horror Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for its 2018 event, to take place in Peachtree City, GA from October 4 - 7, 2018.

We are accepting submissions in the following categories: 

  • Feature Film
  • Short Film
  • Student Film
  • Short Screenplay
  • Feature Screenplay
  • Trailer

We accept the following genres: horror, thriller, and science fiction.  

All submissions may be entered electronically on FilmFreeway. 

All films entered are required to have 3 or greater of the following different specified creative roles fulfilled by women: (Producer(s), Director(s), Writer(s), Cinematographer(s), Composer, SFX Artist, Editor, Production Designer and/or lead talent). Screenplay submissions must have not been previously produced, and must be written or co-written by a woman.

The Lizzies

Winners in all categories will receive a truly one-of-a-kind "Lizzie" trophy. Each trophy is hand-painted ensuring that no two Lizzies are exactly alike. You can check out our Lizzie categories here.
